Even in the creation of pasta, we are inspired by the divine proportion, bringing together tradition and innovation, introducing to the hard semolina and water, the aromatic Chios Tangerine and the intense cardamom. We create pasta that excites even the most demanding palate.
A small nutritional treasure has been growing in “Fragrant” (Myrovolos) Chios for decades. The chian tangerine is famous for its unique flavor, the early ripening of its fruits and its characteristic aroma. The juicy chian tangerine adds another dimension of quality to our pasta, while at the same time boosting your cooking with imagination and traditional notes.
Place a medium or large pot of water on the stove. Once the water is boiling, add the pasta and cook for about 7-8min, then drain. To keep pasta from sticking, stir gently only during the first minute of cooking. Meanwhile, heat 50ml of olive oil in a deep frying pan and add 2 cloves of garlic, 1 tsp. of chopped ginger, 3 diced coloured peppers, 1 diced fresh onion and cardamom. Sauté over medium heat and add 300gr of peeled shrimps, stir for a couple of minutes and add 80ml of vinegar. Add a tbsp. of soya sauce, 2 tbsp. of brown sugar and a pinch of Tabasco or red pepper. Keep stirring until smooth, then add the cooked pasta to the pan. Serve and enjoy!
