Divine Honey Gift Box.
Gift Box with two different kinds of honey. 400g from each.
A thyme aromatic honey collected with care from the islands of Greece. Many civilizations consider honey as a medicine, as the care of the bees during its creation and the essential oils of the Greek thyme create a soothing, sweetening substance with numerous applications in cooking, pastry even cosmetology!
Pine honey with therapeutic Chios Mastiha and mastiha oil from Chios Mastiha Growers Association. Besides the music produced by pine needles when the wind passes through them and the shadow that is granted to us during warm summers, pines take care of us in another special way. They provide food to bees in order to produce honey rich in nutrients and flavors. The mastiha oil and the grated mastiha enrich the pine honey and change the flavor of our breakfast, beverages, sweets and cooking.
From Chios and only in Chios
In the East Aegean Sea, somewhere on the crossroad between East and West, on the island of Chios, mastiha, a legendary product, has been cultivated since Ancient Times. It is connected to traditions, historical events and cultural exchanges, unchanged to this day, sculpted within the culture of the Eastern Mediterranean. It is more powerful than ever, thanks to its scientifically proven beneficial and unique therapeutic properties. It is no coincidence that in 2014 the process of cultivating mastiha has been included by UNESCO on its Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Crystallization – A natural change!!
Crystallization is a natural and completely normal change that occurs in raw honey and it happens mainly during winter due to the cold. Honey is converted from a liquid to a solid – semi-solid state, without affecting its quality.
Crystallized honey can easily return to its liquid form. Just heat it gently in a water bath (bain-marie) or place the whole jar without the lid in 45 degrees Celsius water for a while.
